24/04/2019 - We continued our league programme with a comfortable 2-0 win over Molesey with goals from Danny Bassett and Tope Fadahunsi. We followed that up with a decent 2-1 win away to Ashford Town, with Danny Bassett again on target for the 6th successive match and his 20th of the season. Despite our winning run, our main challenger for the one remaining play off spot, Westfield, also kept winning, which meant that entering the Easter period, we needed maximum points, with Westfield slipping up. Its been a decent couple of months for Tooting as we have only suffered one defeat, and that was against runaway league leaders, Hayes & Yeading. Although a few dropped points in a couple of disappointing draws means that we are still outside the playoff zone as we enter the final stretch of the season. 05/10/2018 - Things haven’t gone quite to plan for Tooting & Mitcham United FC so far this season. Roger Butcher brings us the latest from Imperial Fields. We have suffered a couple of home defeats in the league which has left us at the wrong end of the table.  Admittedly, there is still a long way to go, but confidence is a bit low on the terraces after the trauma of last season’s relegation.
