This year's Community Fun Day in Tooting!
The Community Fun Day returns to Tooting on Saturday 13 July to unite all faiths, cultures and generations in a lively day out!
Attractions include:
- Fairground rides and bungee jumping
- Make your own smoothie bikes
- Sports: penalty shoot-outs, table tennis, basketball
- Animals from Kingston City Farm
- Pop-up play street
- NHS ‘health hub’ promoting healthy living
- Sillie Millie the clown
- Arab, Caribbean, Indopak and Somali food and BBQ
- Giant slide and bouncy castle
- Face painting and henna painting
Meet Tooting’s lively community groups and charities who work to make our area such a great place. Visit stalls with nice things to buy. Enjoy mingling and relaxing in a traffic free space. Join in creative art with Summerstown 182 to celebrate local hero, the ‘Daffodil King.’
MP for Tooting Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, Councillor Jane Cooper, the Mayor of Wandsworth and senior faith and civic leaders will be in attendance.
Funds raised go to support St George’s Hospital Charity.
The Fun Day is organised by the Al Risalah Trust schools, St Augustine's Church and Tooting and the Balham and Tooting Community Association (BATCA).
