A fun indoor event taking place this Sat 11th Nov, with great food and crafts plus FREE entry for all!
The Camphill MK Winter Craft & Food Fair is back and this year there are more than 30 local makers, crafters and artisan creators sharing their designs with the local community. Whether your passion is handmade gifts and arts or just good, honest food made with local and regional ingredients, this fantastic event will have something to inspire you.
Amongst the exhibitors and stalls are beautifully weaved decorations for the home, various arts and crafts designed by local people, delicious preserves and honey, vinegars and other bottled produce, as well as yummy baked goods like cakes and sweet treats. There will also be some live art demonstrations for anyone interested in getting crafty this Christmas. And an interesting exhibition curated by the Milton Keynes Society of Artists (MKSA).
The fair is hosted by Camphill Milton Keynes Communities, a working community and support system for adults with learning difficulties in the Milton Keynes area. Camphill Milton Keynes features eight communal households for 70 people, with a secure and stimulating environment. The work that Camphill does helps to partly integrate adults with learning difficulties into everyday life in MK, helping to promote a feeling of independence.
So come along to the Winter Craft & Food Fair this Saturday 11th November to support the great cause and help the community raise money for 2018! There will be freshly baked pizza, drinks and other refreshments to keep you well-fuelled. Plus don’t forget to bring some change for the raffle!
This is an indoor event, with FREE entry for everyone.
