Halloween in MK: Farmer Paul’s Pumpkins
Visit Farmer Paul in Weedon this Halloween for the best locally home grown pumpkins around!
If you’re after the biggest, brightest and best pumpkins around, take a short drive to Farmer Paul’s pumpkin farm in Weedon and choose your own from his huge pumpkin selection!
Farmer Paul specialises in locally home grown pumpkins and the farm was sold out completely before Halloween last year. So don’t delay…..make sure you go in good time to get yourself a big one.
These beautiful pumpkins are nurtured by hand, planted from little seeds and kept in greenhouses until they are large enough to be planted out in the fields. According to Farmer Paul, a lot of time, sweat and love has gone into the pumpkins on his farm. And not only are they great for carving into spooky Halloween lanterns and decorations for the home, but they are also delicious and healthy to eat.
Farmer Paul’s wife Rosalie is a keen cook and loves to use pumpkin in her recipes and she has shared some of her best pumpkin recipes on their website. So once you’re done carving up the pumpkins this year, you can rustle up something tasty with the leftover flesh.
If you want to shop local and have fun picking your own pumpkin at the same time, make sure you don’t miss Farmer Paul’s pumpkin extravaganza. This year, there’s a fun pumpkin display complete with fun carnival-style photo board. So your little ones can take a memento home with them after their visit.
To find out more about buying one of Farmer Paul’s pumpkins or to find out more about the farm, visit the Farmer Paul website. You can also keep up to date with Farmer Paul’s latest news on the official Facebook page.
