This Weekend: Hitchin Priory Ghost Hunt
Looking for the ultimate thrill? If you don’t mind being in for a scare, join the Hitchin Priory Ghost Hunt with ghost hunter Damien O'Dell this Saturday 17th June – and prepare for a night of haunted happenings.
If you’re a fan of Most Haunted, this spooky event taking place in our local town is your perfect weekend activity. This Saturday sees the eerily exciting Ghost Hunt at Hitchin Priory, led by paranormal expert and ghost hunter, Damien O’Dell. This is a ticket only event starting from 8pm until late and will include a brief history of Hitchin Priory and a tour of the property, plus various events through the night. Activities will engage the entire group, with the possibility of witnessing ghostly sightings, orbs, and sounds.
Attempts will be made during the ghost hunt, to not only see, but to communicate with those who have passed over to the other side. Expert Damien O’Dell, author of Paranormal Hertfordshire and member of the Anglia Paranormal Investigation Society, will be leading the evening with a thorough ghost investigation, exploring various rooms within the building.
A former Carmelite priory for friars of The Order of the Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, the property has centuries and centuries of dark and twisted history. And with Hitchin Priory being one of the most haunted locations in the Hertfordshire region, a ghost hunt here is definitely not something for the faint-hearted.
Tickets are £35 each, and the price will also include a light buffet meal for guests.
