Last Chance for the Town Centre Ghost Walk (Wed 8th Nov)
The final Ghost Walk event of the year with Derek Wheeler – a spooky tour for fans of the paranormal!
The Hitchin Ghost Walk is wrapping up for the year and the final event is taking place on Wednesday 8th November.
Led by local historian and author Derek Wheeler, the Hitchin Ghost Walk has been a very popular event this year with both residents and visitors to our town. The walk, which begins in Hitchin town centre, explores both facts and folklore in search of Hitchin’s ghosts and ghouls.
The tour is around and hour and a half and will feature a number of local sights and landmarks, as well as Hitchin’s most atmospheric and haunting locations. If you love to learn about the paranormal, this guided walking tour is ideal. You will also come away with some nuggets of historical knowledge to share with your friends.
Not only will there be an opportunity to encounter some ghosts (well, maybe) but you can also learn more about your hometown and discover the significance behind some of Hitchin’s most iconic and oldest buildings. A superb evening out or a gift for someone who is enthusiastic about Hitchin and their local area.
Tickets can be bought in advance from the Hitchin Initiative located at 27 Churchyard. Tickets are priced at £5 per person. Call 01462 453335 to find out more.
