If you’ve got little monster to entertain this Halloween, here are some fun events and spooky things to do with the kids in Hitchin. 

Here are some great things to get up to in and around the Hitchin area for Halloween. Little witches and ghastly ghouls will be spoilt for choice when it comes to activities. These are really great alternatives to Trick or Treating and there’s something for all ages…

Little Rascals Funny Bones Children’s Party (Mon 30th Oct)

Join the fancy dress fun at Little Rascals Indoor Play Centre on Bancroft and get your tickets for their big Halloween bash! The party will include lots of fun and games, music and dancing, plus food and drink. Tickets are £7 for 1 adult 1 child.

Half Term Halloween Fun House (Wed 25th – Thurs 26th Oct)

THE Half Term Halloween Fun House will be taking place at Hitchin Lavender from Wednesday 25th to Thursday 26th October, open from 10am to 3pm each day. The Fun House has a number of classes to suit all ages, and children will be able to enjoy fun and games, as well as a Halloween themed drama and dance workshop.

Secret Garden Halloween Party (Tues 31st Oct)

The Secret Garden is one of Hitchin’s best kept secrets for children with a crèche and indoor creative play area that will inspire big imaginations in little minds. And this Halloween, the Secret Garden team will be hosting their very own spooky party! With Halloween party games, a delicious themed buffet for all, a Trick or Treat treasure hunt with prizes, plus a fun disco for dancing away. There’s also a fancy dress competition so don’t forget to enter your little monsters! Tickets are £3 for under 1s and £8 for 1-10 years (plus £5 for siblings).

Pumpkin Festival at Willows Farm (21st-29th Oct)

Located just 30 minutes away is Willows Activity Farm and from Saturday 21st to Sunday 29th October this year, there will be a fantastic Pumpkin Festival to keep little terrors entertained during the school half term. Every child can pick a FREE pumpkin, learn to carve and take part in arts, crafts and other fun activities. The full programme is jam-packed with things to do, including funfair rides, Pat-a-Pet, the Benjamin Bunny Show, the pig race, a pumpkin show, treehouse and play areas, a chance to meet the animals, and much more. Tickets are £17.50 for children and £16.50 for adults.

Halloween Half Term - Toddler Tales & Move (25th – 26th Oct)

Another superb event hosted at Hitchin Lavender, created for tots and toddlers. Featuring lively stories, dancing and treasure hunting all suitable and highly stimulating for pre-school children and their parents. Tickets are £5 per child (accompanying adults free) and the ticket price includes refreshments.
