Halloween in Hitchin: Fun Things for Grownups
It’s time to dust off your broomstick, light up your pumpkins and get spooked up for All Hallow’s Eve…..here are some fun Halloween events for grownups to do in the Hitchin area.
It’s not just the kids that get to have fun this Halloween in Hitchin. If you’re too old for Trick or Treat but still want to get involved in the spine-tingling and spooky festivities of this ghoulish holiday, here are some things happening in town that you won’t want to miss.
Halloween Glow In The Dark Yoga (Fri 20th Oct)
Enjoy fitness with a fright at Hitchin Lavender’s Glow In The Dark Yoga class, themed especially for the scary season of ghosts and ghouls. It’s yoga like you’ve never seen before! Come in your brightest active wear (white and neons are particular good for black light) and enjoy an evening of music, yoga and spooky glowing! The class starts at 7:30pm and will provide an uplifting 60 minute session that will leave you feeling blissful and full of energy at the same time. Tickets are £12 for earlybird or £15 for second release.
Stranger Things Halloween Party @ Groundworks (Fri 27th Oct)
Head to the Groundworks Café on Friday 27th October for an evening of Demogorgon-based cocktails, dry-ice and banging 80s tunes. All to celebrate season 2 of the Stranger Things Netflix series (which comes out on the same day). This award winning coffee shop will transform into a Halloween themed venue and guests are invited to come along from 7pm onwards to mingle amongst other Stranger Things fans. Fancy dress welcome and there’s even a free shot for anyone dressed up as Eleven or Barb! Tickets are £10 and come with a free cocktail on arrival.
Twisted Carnival @ Osinksy's (Fri 27th Oct)
Looking for the biggest Halloween party in town? If carving pumpkins and watching a scary movie in your onesie is way too tame for your liking, don’t miss the Twisted Carnival at Osinksy's. This is set to be a Halloween party like never before and even includes a FREE DRINK on entry. The night will be twisted and terrifying from start to finish, featuring circus performers, Gothic burlesque dancers, a DJ, a candy bar for Trick or Treaters, and plenty of fancy dress. There’s a Selfie Station too so get working on that costume. Tickets are £7 (open to over 18s only).
