reCentre Health: Providing wellbeing in Balham for 15 years!
reCentre Health has been helping people in the community to improve their health and wellbeing for over 15 years!
Sally Roberts, reCentre founder and owner, ran a physiotherapy practice from the Art of Health & Yoga on Balham High Road in the 1990’s before opening her first independent physiotherapy and complementary therapy practice in Balham in 2003.
Having opened a second, larger premises in 2009 to accommodate a studio for yoga and pilates classes, 3 additional treatment rooms and a rehab gym and pilates apparatus space, reCentre now has over 2,000 customer visits each month.
Winner of the prestigious ‘Best Business for Customer Service’ award at the Wandsworth Business Awards in both 2017 and 2018, reCentre receives consistently outstanding reviews. During her acceptance speech at the award ceremony, Sally said, “People often come to us in pain or with stress. It’s our pleasure and our joy to make their lives better.”
As well as physiotherapy and osteopathy (including specialist treatment for pre- and post-natal conditions, sports injuries, women’s health issues and babies), reCentre offers a huge selection of complementary therapies including psychotherapy and counselling, acupuncture, every type of massage and even a complementary health GP who was formerly a medical doctor. A lot of the treatments offered are covered by medical insurers such as BUPA and AXA PPP.
reCentre therapists are all highly skilled experts in their field – many have decades of clinical experience and numerous practitioners hold masters degrees or PhD’s in subjects as diverse as Paediatric Osteopathy, Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Women’s Health, Clinical Neuropsychology and Stress and Pain Management.
In their spacious studio, as well as pilates, yoga, Tai Chi and barre classes and courses (including specialist pregnancy and post-natal classes), there are regular workshops including mindfulness, meditation and deep stretch.
reCentre is open 7 days a week - from 8am to 9.30pm Monday-Thursday, 8am to 8pm Fridays, 9am to 5pm Saturdays and 9am to 2pm Sundays.
