Introducing Balham's Community Choirs!
Do you fancy joining a choir? Luckily there are several to choose from right here in Balham!
All are friendly and welcome all ages and abilities. So whether you are a complete novice shower singer or an experienced tenor, give one of these fun choirs a go and let your inner singer shine through!
Balhamonics:
Balhamonics is a local community choir who sing rock, pop, folk or anything else that takes their fancy with suggestions welcome! They are a welcoming and friendly choir who meet every Wednesday evening at The Exhibit from 7:30pm-9:30pm. For a fun musical evening, drop in and give it a try!

Pram Chorus Balham:
The Pram Chorus is a fun and friendly, non-auditioning community choir with groups in Streatham Tooting and Balham, Brixton, Beckenham and further afield in Sheffield. The dream-child of choir director and mum Ruth Routledge, this choir is for mums, dads, nannies, grandparents , expectant mums or anyone who is looking after a little one with a promise that no nursery rhymes will be sung! The music is taught by ear instead of with sheet music which leaves hands free to hold, feed or dance with your babies or toddlers! Held at The Regent pub every Friday morning from 10:15am-11:15am, there is no experience required and all are welcome!

Night Chorus:
Night Chorus is an extension of Pram Chorus and open to everyone, all ages and all abilities with no auditions and no sheet music! Taking place every Monday night at the Balham Scout Hall from 8pm-9:30pm, Night Chorus members sing great tunes in even greater company with all kings of songs being sung in harmony. There are performances twice per term usually in aid of a local charity or community event.

South London Choir:
This is a community choir led by the dynamic American composer and entertainer MJ. Held every Tuesday evening at Ravenstone Primary School from 7:15pm-9:15pm, the South London Choir is a non-auditioning and all encompassing choir singing everything from Mozart to ABBA, Gospel to Swing, musicals to new contemporary pieces! Just show up, sing and have fun! All ages and every experience level welcome!

South West London Choral Society:
This amateur choral choir of around 70 members rehearses and performs a variety of choral music and invites new singers to come along and give it a go without an audition. Taking place over 3 terms, the year usually culminates in a performance in one of the Wandsworth churches. The South West London Choral Society have given concerts and performances in St. Omer, Calais, Bruges, Lille, Brussels and Ghent! Held every Monday at the Balham Baptist Church from 7:30pm-9:30pm, this choir is perfect for the performer in you!
