Invitation to new Balham Youth Club Briefing
The Salvation Army is working to set up a new youth club in Balham, open to all, to give young people a safe place to meet and enjoy themselves on a Friday evening.
The Balham & Tooting Community Association (BATCA) reports that the Salvation Army is working with partners, including the Met Police, local business and people on the local estates. They are looking for volunteers who can help in different ways, such as organising activities, serving refreshments, mentoring or just chilling. They're keen to raise awareness and build up support across the community.
If you would like to find out more about the youth club, or about volunteering, you're invited to the briefing session above on Tuesday 9th October, between 6.30-8.30pm at The Coffee Lounge, Salvation Army, 38 High Road, Balham, SW12 9AH.
