Balham and Tooting RSPCA look to rehome cats to loving homes
The Balham and Tooting branch of the RSPCA are looking for local households to provide a loving home to kittens or cats who have been through difficult and sometimes traumatic situations.
Working hard to effectively look after the welfare of animals in the area, The Balham and Tooting RSPCA provides the following services:
- Rehoming of cats with links to local animal establishments and shelters
- Community Animal Action Events in conjunction with local RSPCA inspectors and vets, including initiatives such as subsidised microchipping, neutering and worm and flea treatments
- Pet Neutering Scheme for those on a low income or government benefits
- Fundraising events in the local area
- Home visits for the RSPCA
- Pet advice and guidance for local people
Bambo is celebrating his 5 years adoption anniversary. He was fostered by a #Tooting couple who immediately fell in love & decided to keep him.

5 years later he's very much part of the family, a much loved & very happy boy.
Is your pet adopted? We'd love to hear their story. pic.twitter.com/ZZ16pJcIUa
If rehoming a kitten or cat is not an option for your household at the moment, the Balham and Tooting branch is always in need of volunteers who can help with local flyer distribution, fund raising events or fostering. The branch is run solely by a committee of volunteers and rely on donations, legacies and local fundraising efforts.
For more information on how you can help, check out their website. You can also follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
